The faces behind Cellkind
“Humanity's true moral test, its fundamental test…consists of its attitude towards those who are at its mercy: animals.”
Milan Kundera
The way meat is "produced" in the modern world is reprehensible. Animals are largely no longer kept on pastures, but crammed into ever-larger factory farms, in ever-smaller cages, under unbearable conditions for the animals and many of the workers. And why? So that vast quantities of meat are available daily – for human and pet consumption. Humans eat the gusto pieces, pets get the rest. And in doing so, it is not recognized that a system that denies husbandry animals any dignity is itself a profound degradation of society. That has to stop.

And those are just the ethical concerns, industrial factory farming accounts for about 14.5% of all global anthropogenic greenhouse-gas emissions (similar to the entire transport sector), uses around 77% of the world’s arable land, contributes to groundwater pollution through manure and nitrates, and accelerates antibiotic resistance due to the widespread use of antibiotics in livestock production.
Cellkind`s purpose is the development, production, manufacture, marketing, and distribution of cellular agriculture components and products for the food industry.
We are a team that combines experience and mission. We are convinced that cutting-edge technology and genuine commitment have the potential to replace outdated structures and production processes with sustainable, ethical, and functional production methods. Our goal is not to interfere in the businesses of regional farmers, as we are convinced of the urgent need for regional and species-appropriate agriculture. Rather, our developments are intended to offer an alternative to extensive agriculture, which exploits the soil and animals and ultimately harms all of nature, including humans. Our focus is on making a difference in certain areas and developing new products that fill a gap and meet a need, whether in the field of animal feed or medical nutrition.

We believe we are among those who found a solution.
